<span style=”font-size: 17px;”>For the past 22 years, I have been on an exhilarating journey as a dedicated collector of rocks and minerals, with a special focus on the rich geology of Southern Africa. This remarkable region, known for its stunning diversity of geological formations and mineral deposits, has been my playground and source of inspiration. </span>

<span style=”font-size: 17px;”>Beginning my collection in a small town nestled within the breathtaking landscapes of South-Africa, I was captivated by the vibrant colors and unique textures of the stones I found. Each piece I collected told a story of the Earth’s ancient past, and I felt compelled to unearth these stories while expanding my knowledge of mineralogy and geology.</span>

<span style=”font-size: 17px;”>As my passion grew, I gradually transitioned towards the Kalahari Manganese Fields, a world-renowned mineral-rich area known for its exceptional quality manganese ores and stunning mineral specimens. The Kalahari not only offered new challenges in my collecting endeavors but also introduced me to rare and beautiful minerals that became treasured pieces of my collection.</span>

<span style=”font-size: 17px;”>I’ve also ventured into Tsumeb, a legendary mining town in Namibia celebrated for its remarkable mineral diversity and unique specimens. The rich deposits found in Tsumeb have allowed me to add some truly spectacular pieces to my growing collection, strengthening my appreciation for the natural artistry of minerals.</span>

<span style=”font-size: 17px;”>I would say one of my personal favourites would be a red rhodochrosite covered with a secondary pink coating. Everytime I see it, I just fall in love with it again.</span>
<span style=”font-size: 17px;”>So far it has been a fulfilling adventure, one that has deepened my love and appreciation for the natural world.</span>
